Game Changes

To change, postpone or cancel a game outside of electronic scheduling dates you must

  1. Email your age division commissioners and cc brynawilliams@mohockeyyd.org to get the schedule change approved.
  2. Request the change through the crossbar league system reschedule process. The instructions for this step are below.

When you request a change through this process the system will notify your opponent, if they accept the change, it will then be automatically sent to the league for approval and scheduling.

The option to ADD A GAME is not yet available through the Crossbar rescheduling process but is coming soon. Until then, please submit game additions using the google form linked below.

Last Minute Game Cancellations and Changes

If you are changing or cancelling an existing game with less than 3 days, IN ADDITION TO THE CROSSBAR RESCHEDULE PROCESS, you must change/ cancel REFS through MIHOA's Game Officials Request Form.  Emails and calls WILL NOT be accepted.

Cancellations with Assigned Officials:

If all officials have been assigned to a game and the game is subsequently cancelled, the service fee will be charged.

Cancellations Less than 24 Hours Before Game:

If all officials have been assigned to a game and the game is subsequently cancelled with less than 24 hours notice, the service fee and game fees will be charged.

Travel Permits

Missouri Hockey requires teams traveling out of the immediate St. Louis area to obtain a travel permit from the Missouri Hockey registrar. Travel permits are required for all tournaments and all practice, friendship and exhibition games if one of the teams playing is not a Missouri Hockey League team. Travel permits are not required for Missouri Hockey League games.

By applying for a Missouri Hockey travel permit the applicant, coaches, and team agree to abide by the federal health guidelines and regulations in force at the time and location of the event.

FAILURE TO OBTAIN A TRAVEL PERMIT WILL RESULT IN $100 FEE PER INCIDENT and the possibility of additional Rules and Discipline action.

Patches

USA Hockey provides award patches for players participating in games during the fall hockey season. Patches are limited to one of each patch per player per season.

Hat Trick Award – For a player scoring three goals in a game. 

Playmaker Award – For a player registering three assists in a game. 

Zero Club Award – For a goalkeeper playing a complete game without allowing a goal.  Goalkeeper must play the entire game to receive the award. 


Qualifications

  1. The recipient is a registered player.
  2. The game was in league competition (this includes declaration and regular season games, but NOT exhibition or friendly games) or a sanctioned tournament involving registered USA Hockey teams. 
  3. The game was officiated by a registered USA Hockey Referee.
  4. A copy of the score sheet is supplied to Mo Hockey with the request form.
  5. Limit of ONE of each award, per player, per season.

HOW TO FILL OUT A SCORESHEET

Every year we receive score sheets that are incomplete, incorrect or simply not legible. We know that volunteers are the scorekeepers and appreciate your time and effort! Click the LINK below to download how to fill out a scoresheet and please write legibly, these sheets are uploaded so it is very important the sheets are easy to read!

Scoresheets

MAIHA provides scoresheets for Youth Division fall/winter season games. These are provided to teams during the scheduling period. If your club is out of sheets and you need additional scoresheets for league games contact Bryna at brynawilliams@mohockeyyd.org or 314-842-6466.

If your club/team needs scoresheets for spring/summer hockey games or tournaments you may order them through The Official's Warehouse website or by calling 1-888-806-7337.
