2025 Bluenote Cup Festival

The 2025 Blue Note Cup 6U/8U Festival will take place on Saturday March 1st and Sunday March 2nd, 2025, at the Centene Ice Arena.

By moving the Festival to Maryville we have more ice available and can accept all teams and most importantly we do not have to worry about losing the ice due to weather. This has happened twice the last couple of years.

Registration opened on Friday Oct 4 at Noon.

ALL 6U/8U teams will be allowed to play in the Festival. We encourage teams register soon that we can plan the ice accordinly.

Registratation will close Friday Oct 18 at 5:00pm.

Registration will take less than 5 minutes to complete. See the information below for what is needed to register.

Teams will get one hour of ice and will play two games against different teams.

Coaches will be on the ice and officiate the game.

No official scores will be kept, teams do not advance.

There is NO cost to play or register.

Once you register you will receive a confirmation that your registration has been received and you have a spot in the Festival.

This is a great free event that provides the opportunity to play in the BNC championship environment and teams get a medal just like the teams in the BNC Championship Games!

Age Divisions

6U division will play cross ice with six teams on the ice each hour.

8U division (Red, White and Blue) will play half ice with four teams on the ice each hour.

When

Saturday, March 1st

Sunday, March 2nd

The Festival will have game times on Saturday and Sunday. Final schedules will be released once registration is closed.

We are not able to work around team conflicts.

Where

The 2025 Blue Note Cup Festival will be held at the Maryville Ice Rink in conjunction with the Blue Note Cup championship games for 10U-18U that will be played at Centene.

Games

Each team will play one hour on the same sheet of ice; playing two 25 minute games. The teams will rotate so they play two different teams without leaving the ice.

Coaches be on the ice & manage the game. There will not be referees supplied.
The clock will sound for line changes

Jerseys

Teams should bring their own jerseys and be prepared to switch colors, light/dark if needed. If you have two jerseys bring them both. We will pair up the teams on the ice best we can with the jerseys each team has.
